Mrs. Jaime Stoddard

Welcome, my name is Mrs. Jaime Matherne Stoddard.  I am blessed to be a teacher at Houma Christian School.  I have been a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God Church since the age of 2.  At the age of 14, I felt God place a calling on my life to minister to teenagers.  After graduating from South Terrebonne High School in 1997, I continued to follow the path that God had for me.  I graduated from Nicholls State University in December of 2000 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-8.  I taught at Houma Jr. High School from January 2001 until March of 2012 when God opened the door for me to teach at Houma Christian.  History and Science were always my favorite subjects in school, and I am so excited that I get the opportunity to share my passion for this subject matter with my students.

Besides being a teacher, I am also a wife and mother.  I have been married to my husband for 19 years, and we are the proud parents of three beautiful little girls.  I have an 13 year old, and a set of 10 year old twins.  All three of my daughters attend HCS.

When I am not teaching, I love being crafty.  I love to sew, embroider, and make hair bows for my girls.  We also love to travel and make memories as a family.
